Anderson and Sosa committed to stand trial for murder in bathroom

Christopher Sosa

Ashton Anderson and Christopher Sosa, who were in the prison bus fight, were committed to stand trial for the murder of Romel Palacio Senior. On Father’s Day on June nineteenth, 2011, gunmen stormed inside a house looking for Romel Palacio Junior, but found his father inside the bathroom and shot him multiple times on the head, hands and leg. Anderson and Sosa will answer to the murder charge in the January 2013 Session of the Supreme Court. The men who were unrepresented, were taken before the Chief Magistrate, Ann Marie Smith. Palacio Junior was reportedly being targeted because he was a witness in the trial against brothers, Maurice and Emory Felix, who were accused in the murder of Mitchum Heredia. That case was put on hold after Palacio Senior was killed and in 2012 the trial ended in a hung jury.
