Villager turns himself in after stabbing woman multiple times

Also in Placencia, twenty-four year old Lizet Cocom was stabbed multiple times on November fifteenth on her neck, back and hands, allegedly by her estranged common-law husband. The incident was reported the following day and led to outrage in village when the police did not arrest the accused man even though he travelled regularly between Placencia and Independence. Well, on Wednesday evening, Devon Logan turned himself in. Reports are that he went to the Queen Street Police Station, accompanied by his attorney, Richard “Dickie” Bradley. He is expected to be transferred to Placencia where charges will be levied for the stabbing incident.
The police should hang their heads in shame for letting this man go about his business for a fortnight without arresting him. If he had not surrendered himself, maybe he would never have been arrested. does he have friends behind the police desk? Or was it just inattention caused by an ingrained lack of respect given to women victims in the Jewel?
Whatever the cause, the police stupidly lost the chance to interrogate the suspect by sitting on their rears until he hired a lawyer. I hope SOMEONE in the upper echelons of police takes note of the sloth in this case, and some promotions are denied because of it.
It’s a case of attempted murder, and morally it is no different at all than actual murder. I’m for hanging.
As always, he stabbed the woman but he ran to Dickie, guess why, because he knows that Dickie will get him off with a tap on the hand. There is a woman who is lucky to still be alive. When you put a knfe into somebody you have an intent to do grievious harm if not an intent to kill. Especially against a woman who may not be a match in strength to protect herself from a man.This was done in anger and with no care for her lifem he just wanted her to hurt for leaving him. Some other foolish woman will gladly pick up this idiot, abusers seldomly change, they keep right on beating on the women in their lives, they should be made to go and get help, of course I am not sure from where. The churches should have classess that teach against domestic violence and the courts should make it mandatory tor these useless men to go through these training. Oh but then you need a sound program, sorry there is none.

LOL!
But on a serious note no matter what the circumstances are no one deserves to be injured or killed because you and your spouse or ex are having a problem.
IF the case was cheating you wont be the first and surely not the last this has happened to!
