Stann Creek Store Clerk busted for carnally knowing 15 year old girl

Twenty-one year old Evan Alex Ortiz, a store clerk of Bella Vista Village in the Stann Creek District, appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer today where he was charged for unlawful carnal knowledge. Ortiz is accused of having sexual intercourse with a fifteen year old Belize City student on December sixth, at a house on Neal’s Pen Road. Acting upon information received, police visited the residence and took the teenager into custody before calling in a social worker. The girl subsequently told police that Ortiz is her boyfriend and that they engaged in intercourse while at the house. Ortiz was informed that he cannot be granted bail by the magistrate’s court, but he can apply to the Supreme Court after ninety days. With that he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
This is normal behavior for these people down there!
I gurantee if you look into this person he is a foreign worker and his work permit is up!
And so what …..? this people work harder that you and me and all lazy @$$ crack head out there. dont b racist.
No matter where he came from, the law needs to protect children from sexual predators like him.
Prison for a decade or so seems about right to me.

This guy could be a scum and if he is he should be punished to the full extent of the law however, years gone by in all the villages girls were (and in many instances still are) married at 15. Why do you think the Quincenera party is such a big thing even until today? This is a comming of age party.
Besides this is not an inocent girl, she is wise to the world, know exactly what she was there for and was not forced.
It is very difficult for Ever situation he have two sons in the Bella Vista and is more Belizean than you all … He grew up in the city of Beilce and like 3 years ago he come live to Bella, If the girl says that he is her boyfriend and they already had a relation. I think the police is not justice because the Mayan culture before 12 they are engage and some with kids already … lets be equal with all Belizean… GARRA ESTAMOS CON VOS!!!!
its not nice to being in this kind of situation and us as men should not be saying anyting because this was not rape the girl ran away frm home and got involved with her concent with him not forcely!! and for those who think his permit is up u so wrong his a belizean and he grew in the city!!! we aint lettin him in we gone take him out!! the law should be the same with everyone lot of men fall under this kind of situation!!!
