GSU operations in the west yield drugs and ammo

Early this morning, the Gang Suppression searched the house of Rafael Martinez in the Santa Cruz area of Benque Viejo del Carmen. The GSU found fifty grams of cannabis in a black plastic bag placed in a school bag in the living room of the house. An additional amount of three hundred and eighty-four grams were found inside a baby’s bag in one of the bedrooms. Martinez who is an alleged member of the Eighteenth Street Gang in Benque Viejo was charged with the possession of controlled drugs and for the possession of controlled drugs with the intent to supply.

 

Still in Benque Viejo, the GSU also arrested Ismael Jimenez and charged him for the possession of controlled drugs while Laura Howe was charged for keeping ammo without a gun license. Jimenez was seen in an empty lot in the Hills of Promise area and attempted to seek cover in the bushes where he disposed of a black plastic bag.

The GSU found the bag, which contained fifteen grams of cannabis. In a further search of the house, the GSU found three rounds of ammo in a red plastic bag in a room occupied by Jimenez’s sister, Howe, who was also charged.

 

This afternoon, the GSU arrested two others: Carlos Gomez and Hector Pererra.   The GSU caught up with Gomez at his house on the Lomas Del Rodeo. Gomez attempted to flee but was detained and the GSU found three grams of cannabis on him. At the same time, the GSU detained Pererra who was standing in the yard, The GSU also found one point five grams of cannabis under Pererra’s feet. Both men, who are described as gang members, were separately charged with one count of Possession of Controlled Drugs.

    If any of these gang members are foreigners, let’s kick them out AFTER they serve the prison time they owe us.

    Thanks GSU for identifying those who claim affiliation to that ignorant group of gang members. Please have them deported back to their country. Good job guys for working in the area, we mi di wait pan uno dah west. Cus lota silly young boys in the west here ina gang. Just like in the City, we noh want them yah neither. I know with uno my tax money is paid back, keep we country safe guys.
