GSU forages for weapons in blocks

The Gang Suppression Unit is keeping a close eye on the George Street Gang. Having found a grenade and ammunition in a church on West Street, on Wednesday morning, GSU officers searched the residence of someone they describe as one of the key leaders of the George Street Gang. Nothing incriminating was found inside the house, but an interesting discovery was made in the property in front of it. A wooden block was found with the inside carved out in the shape of the black forty-five millimeter Glock pistol and magazine that were hidden inside. A second empty block was found but the shape of the weapon it stores was also carved inside.  The GSU says that the glock pistol, which is a prohibited weapon in Belize, could not be linked to anyone and was taken in as found property.
