Throats of 4 gang members slashed in apartment
The death toll is ticking upwards as the crime epidemic claims more lives: Eight days into the New Year – eight murders. Terror blanketed the entire City this morning, just before eight after the gruesome discovery of four bodies inside an apartment building at the corner of Dean and Plues Streets. Security forces moved into the area and the bodies of Albert Fuentes, Leonard Meyers, Anthony Perez and Keino Quallo were removed from where they lived and carted away to the K.H.M.H. morgue. Even as police cordoned off the crime scene, gunshots were fired and many persons, including the media, scurried for cover. The crime crisis plunged the entire city into panic, paralyzing the entire downtown and south side areas. Our team of reporters has been covering the horrific events, from the discovery of the lifeless bodies to the Prime Minister’s press conference this afternoon in which government’s strategy was disclosed to stymie further bloodshed following the unbelievable massacre of George Street gang members on their own turf. We start with the scene at Dean Street and Plues Street with Duane Moody.
Duane Moody, Reporting
It was a gruesome quadruple murder at the apartment complex on the upper flat of the two storey cement structure at the corner of Plues and Dean Streets in the heart of one of Belize’s hotspots. Nineteen year old Albert “Long Johns” Fuentes, twenty-eight year old Anthony “Heads” Perez, thirty-year old Leonard “Ghost” Meyers—all known George Street Gang members—and forty year old Keino Quallo, who called the complex located above Dandres Unisex Boutique home, were slaughtered during sometime on Monday night.
The discovery was made before eight this morning and police were called in. Hundreds of residents and family converged at the scene. Shocked by the news of the murders, the residents waited as the bodies were placed in the back of police pickup trucks and taken to the morgue. On the rumors that reputed member, Ghost, was killed in the massacre, the scene was volatile. There was an uproar from the multitude of onlookers when Meyers’ face was left uncovered as his body was placed in the back of the pickup.
Voice of: Natasha Lewis, Relative to Leonard Meyers
“When dehn bring down my family Ghost, ih face noh even cover so dehn wah make we see how dehn do it to he. All the rest of face dehn covered, but my family Ghost he dah wah knock head and he make dehn know. Only because ah his family he slow down because ah we. My family sit down ina wah chair with wah big slice across ih neck. [Bleep] they young bwai noh [Bleep] with nobody. Dah four ah dehn dehn kill up deh yo know. Three ah dehn into gang yes, but then the next one weh see everything, they kill he too. You understand this dah lone simpleness. GSU dehn tell me when dehn gone dah station, George Street man weh noh dead gwen dah jail fi the rest of dehn life. Four ah dehn live deh. Dehn guy can’t go anywhere goh live.so dehn live up dah the boutique weh got about eight or ten rooms up deh so. More than four ah dehn live up deh but the one weh deh really mussi gone fah never di deh and that dah why dehn gone on so crucial. Only pig yo slaughter like that.”
Duane Moody
“That dah Shiny right?”
Voice of: Natasha Lewis
“That dah Shiny but dah only because wah case the come up against the GSU but we noh worry. We noh respect nothing or nobody. Fi dehn lee money, noh even that could buy the pain of weh we deh di feel yo noh.”
The murders were carried out with precision. The residents believe security forces are responsible for the homicides.
Voice of: Resident, George Street Area
“Miss me live pan di canal side and ten to three ina di rain wah red truck stop and five man in black jump out but I neva know dah murder dehn gwen goh commit. Miss I see too much thing pan the canal side; dehn chancy mother[Bleep}. But it was my son, an officer with uniform—one weh ker the badge—woulda dead cause I mi wah dead with my child today.”
Voice of: Natasha Lewis
“We know dah GSU. Dehn pass through my ma yard di morning yo know. This happen from this morning from after two three this morning. This happen from the rain come down two-thirty, three-thirty this morning yo know because the blood pan dehn bwai still hard so this noh just happen. This happen from dah rain come down three this morning.”
“We understand that it was the rain as well as all the TVs were on maybe to drown to sound of them being attacked.”
Voice of: Natasha Lewis
“That door deh, can’t open soh easy. So if dah anybody come rush dehn bwai that noh wah happen. The only person dehn bwai open door fah dah police dehn. Dehn come like dehn wah kill somebody any minute any day.”
Police on the other hand refute this allegation. Just before nine a.m., Commissioner Designate, Allen Whylie, gave the media a comment on scene about the incident.
Duane Moody
“Sir it is the eighth in the New Year and the eighth murder already. It is getting worse.”
Allen Whylie, ComPol Designate
“Well you have to understand that we are out there, we have our patrols on the ground and we are trying to prevent. But there are a lot of persons with personal grievances and issues and lot of these are crimes of opportunities. We cannot stop every crime, but we have to ensure that we have the resources to quickly mobilize and to do a proper investigation and try to arrest this situation.”
Monica Bodden
“Commissioner I am sure that you may know that the residents of the area strongly believe that these crimes [murders] were committed by police officers.”
“Well we have heard that. I would not accept that statement—I would not agree with that statement because I do not believe that our officers would resort to those kinds of things. I have the fullest confidence in the police. Yes police are from the society, we have our goods and our bads, but I think that there are certain grounds that we would not step across. That may be their belief; that may be their perception—they are entitled to their opinion and I cannot change that—but I am certain that the investigation, if it is successful would dispute that belief.”
The murders of the members of one of the most feared gangs in the City have residents on the edge that retaliation will be inevitable in the days to come. One resident is of the view that the crime situation in Belize will further deteriorate.
“I am saying there is no way no gang on the face of Belize wah come through the gaza George Street and murder for man like that. It is the police; dehn rap and then dehn massacre. And dehn have not finish yet. Remember the list weh got on the man dehn name. They are not finished Belize—it can be your innocent child. Don’t forget look the police is the gang we are up against. Murder one of the official and get satisfaction Belize.”
Duane Moody for News Five.

Stupid people! How the hell in the world they sre thinking the police killed those gang members? That’s why belize is like that because the same people support what is happening in belize! If the police do good or bad they still complain, what they hell is wrong belizean??
100% that was NOT gang members. They will not have so many confidence just to go on their area and do what they had to do. That was the G.S.U. Or another goverment workers. The samething that happen to M.r. MCAfee in San Pedro (he got frame). Just remember you can NOT cover the sun with one finger.
They’re gangsters. You reap what you sow. There will be less innocents caught in the crossfire of their gangster wars.
If these guys are a menace to society then so be it.More of them need to be executed.
Good riddance.
Think of this as a favour to the good citizens of Belize.
Think of this as a small step forward.
Think of this as justice.
Sick of these black men turning Belize into a hell hole.
Let us not complain good there are off. The streets, many more need this
This was obviously a hit done by a Cartel, which Belizean u know use knife except fi they panya
For the government or police, want the world to believe they are not responsible is crazy. God never sleeps, and whomever kills those men, there turn will come. Belize havent seen bloodshed yet. Not by a long shot.
To kill 4 men with knives requires more than 8 strong. Well armed persons. This does not have characteristics gang related murders. This appears to be 100% police execution.
It is so sad if what the people are saying is True. No one has the right to kill anyone regardless of how bad or good they are. I can’t stand it when people judge other people bringing the ghetto youths them down, Only God can judge people, no one isn’t perfect. We are all Belizeans and if we are saying negativity about these dearly deseased brothers, we should be ashame of our self because the biggest murderer is still at large, how can a person just slice up and take the life of those men like they are animals. At the ending of the day we are all humans and this can happen to anyone.
My family Anthony Perez was not a GANG member, let’s get it right. Which gang member is up at 3am helping his mom sell food? He was a hard working young man that couldn’t afford a better place to live an was at the wrong place an the wrong time…..
Everyday I see these crimes commmitted in my beloved country and I noticed that at each crime scene they load the victims in someone’s car or a police pickup truck. Does Belize city have any ambulance service or morgue transportation to be dispatched in theses emergencies? We were doing this sort of things in the 60s. Come on now.
It is so sad if what the people are saying is true. No one has the right to kill a person regardless of how bad or good they are. I don’t understand why people are quick to judge and discriminate against the ghetto youth them, when God is the only person that can do that. No one isn’t perfect, I don’t know how in the world the sysytem wants us to relax when there is a mass murderer lingering Belize. This can happen to anyone, so lets stop with the negativity. How will we move foward and help out the youths them to change there life and make a difference if we are discriminating against, race, hair, skin and residence.
Well said MADDY,
you make perfect sense.
It most likelly was the doing of the GOB, and if so, I think it was time. No need for a million laws that take the freedom from everyone, trying to contain a small segment of the population. These gangs have wreaked enough havoc, time to take the fight to them.
They were instrumental in terrorizing an entire city and they got their just punishment. Their families will now feel the frustration and extreme pain the rest of us feel every time we have to watch another youth being put in the grave. I feel sorry for those women yelling out that some police should die for this. Imagine if the police force was wiped out or even given a day off countrywide. How would our country be? We scream at them when they cannot arrest the murders and then we scream at them when they man handle them. What are they supposed to do? We have become a society that is too tolerant of bull#### and it saddens me that the criminals have the full support of mothers and girlfriends who are supposed to be the nurtures of humanity. Shame on you women for condoning stupidity.
Whoever carried out this hit did all of us a great justice by getting rid of those scumbags off the street. I am not one to condone violence but in this case we are living in desperate times and such desparate measures are necessary. The rest of us keep talking about hanging but we know that will never happen so this is the only way that justice can be served. I will not turn my back on the GSU. Neither will I point fingers. I just say THANK YOU to whosoever had the courage to eliminate those murderers off our streets!
Remember we have gang presence from other Central American countries in Belize!! these guys don’t make noise they do what they have to do! the people who live in these areas of the city which is gang territory need to stop and think before they start pointing fingers at the police/gsu. I understand the pain the families are going through but lets not be quick to judge, let the investigation takes it course.
If it is the security forces that did it, they are wrong and that is not good. It means that the system has failed miserably in bringing these street thugs to justice in a lawfull way.
BUT…….on the other hand the criminal element has become so sofisticated and bold, that they are frustrating the Police to no end.
And now this……..Methinks we haven’t seen the worst yet as there will be reprisals and retaliations.
How did it get to this? HOW…………
Heavenlyblaq thank you for that comment.
This was not the answer..
The police just change the level of gang warfear.
I am serious. This will make gangs join together aganist one enemy.the police.this was not the answer…
well said heavenlyblaq…
I agree 100% with you heavenlyblaq and maddyvandjkderealisto. Shame on those women who are supporting those criminals. Think about the children that are growing up around the neighborhood and even the children that are watching or listening to the news. Things like that affect our children tremendously, Lord God what will happen to Belize?
I don’t believe the police would do this…. definitely not with machete. We have become a society that is too tolerant for evil. If you respect the police and give them no reason to come and harass you then I am sure they would not do it . But these mothers that go on tv cursing the policemen just giving their children a bad example to do the same. I believe the police can do a better job but they also need to be more trained.
where was the outcry when the two hispanics were murdered senselessly, has Gearge Street Gang taken responsibilty for these two shootings, where is the outcry when all the Chinese grocers are murdered. these people were murdered by gang members, gang members exist to commit crime, rob, rape, murder. why the PM seems so concern now, offers them meeting in his office and a police escort to Gales Point Retreat
WELL WHAT IS SAID IS SAID WHAT HAS HAPPEN WILL HAPPEN DO ENY ONE OF U PPL WHAT TO BE THE ONE TO STOP IT , HELL NO RITE CS UNO WA END UP LIKE THAT YOUNG MAN THAT DIED THERE, BY THE LOOKS OF IT, THIS WILL NOT EVER STOP CS THIS IS THE REAL WORLD OK PPL, SO U CRY TODAY MAYBE ITS ME THAT CRYS TOMARROW, MAY GOD BLESS US ,
Only the Lord is my witness to what we really went down, we don´t know who did it ..why they did it. All we know Belize is that these are some crucial times and must be on the alert Belize, don´t be schemin on the streets, stay home with family and let us not judge ..leave that to the Great Almighty.
MADDY, Not just black men are criminals but just about every race have people that doesn’t deserve to live among the civilize population that said, why does law enforcement encourage these thugs to control an area or give the leader of this gang or any gangs a seat at the table when these are criminals? I’ve heard about gang control areas since a long time and I always wonder, why the police settle for that when they are the law. The people of Belize I believe also must take some blame for this out of control situation because it’s the citizens of Belize that pays for police protection, so they should have demanded this gang control area crap be done with! Since the streets are public domain.
My feeling, I don’t believe the police did this, if the police want to do this, they could have done this in so many other ways and much earlier. Someone said it would take about 8 men to kill these 4 but not really all you need is 1 or 2 men with a gun and possibly 1 with a blade or killing object.
I also hear people said Anthony Perez was not a gang member well I am sure for the period of time he lived in Belize city he knew he was living in a gang house, in a gang control area and bad things can happen so if he was not a part of this, he took a chance and lost and if that’s the case my condolence goes out the him and his family.
These are some of the thing that is wrong with Belize City: Economic opportunity, corruption, and even though this government is a step up for the last one, the Belizean people need to demand more form their government and again no area in Belize City should be under the control of any one person or gang that needs to be fix immediately.
I agree with you heavenlyblaq what you sow you reap ; its about time they pay for the innocent young lives they have taken away , the pain other mothers have felt loosing their young children because of their stupidity just because they don’t have the balls to do their nasty work themselves they sit and relax and give orders and send the young innocent youths to pull the trigers kill other youths or get kill out there . Everything you do on earth you pay for it here . God knows what they were planing next if you do wrong wrong will come to you and this should be expected if you can’t obey the Law of God why should you expect mercy when you gave no mercy . I urge the policy makers to start making policies to protect youths from Gangs some of them don’t go in it on their free will they are forced and threatened these are the the people we should be protecting our youths, our leaders of tomorrow some have no choice join or die .
I am sadden, by all of you with such hatred. If it is not hatred for law enforcers it is for gang members. Not one of you make sense. Not one of you deserve the goodness that God Creator have given to US. Fussing and fighting dose not solve any problem. G.O.B. shame on you to supply them with weapons in the first place. Families that cover for their gang relatives shame on you . You both don’t show a great example for young adult or children growing in a small country like Belize.
So when extreme awareness happens (like taking multiple lives) the system of truth shall reveal itself. What goes around comes back around. Every one is suffering for what happen. Innocent young children die many times over before a major tragedy. This is the law of nature. Man can only do and be so powerful. But when Holy Spirit steps to the throne to judge, it will be a day in hell for all of you.
MADDY and others, remember that the biggest victims of the descent of southside Belize City into hell are the thousands of silent people, mostly black but also hispanic like the two who were murdered last week, who have nowhere else to go and are too poor to matter. Forget the ones screaming profanity at the authorities or claiming their loved ones were angels, the majority are honest struggling people who are terrified every night for their safety. You’ll never know it by looking at the news, and you don’t live there so you don’t know. These are the real people that the PM and the most powerful ministers of government, , who look just like them, have failed with their corrupt ineptitude. These are the people who have been used and abused by rich pols in government.
A life has value so I don’t agree with the negative comments on these men. it is an extremely sad occasion when four men can be so brutally murdered and we turn on each other accusing each other of unspeakable things.
In my humble opinion, GSU could not be responsible for this type of killing as their modus operandi is different. They’re not known for slaying with knives. This has the earmarks of a cartel hit. Somebody pissed off the Mexicans or Colombians and they came into these guys apartment, dressed in black, cause they knew the guys would open the door to the GSU. This was NOT the GSU people, but cartel hitmen that carried out an organized execution with brutality and force.
not really gsu style. from what we have seen of them they roll in like cowboys with guns blazing. this was a pro hit. If I had to bet, I’d say that the boy that just rolled in from gales was in possesion of something he was not suppost to have. either that or he saw, or did something that he was not suppost to and ran to belize city for the protection of his gang turf.
This would also explain why the leaders quickly complied with the gov and got out of Dodge. If they thought the police had hit them, the leaders would not be so willing to go along with the gov. I think the gang leaders know that they are big fish in the belize sea, but they also know that they just pissed off a big shark in the real ocean.
I can’t believe that there are still stupid people thinking that the police are the ones who kiled this criminals? I just want to say the police will not use this tactic by cutting out there throats they will shot will shot them all! Think belize people! Educate youself more and analyze!
belizean people need to wake up the economy will get even worse if the us embassy makes belize a dangerious place to visit because the goverment let the gangs runs belize.shame on the prime minister to negociate with the gangs an shame on the neighbors of george street to blame the police department these are the same gang members that is ordering the killings of innocence belizeans.i send condilence for the family but the gang members will protect there family.belizeans need to support the police department if the gangs wants to kill each other let them do so don’t kill innocent hard working civilians.thats my truth
can it be some ninja mafia acting on retaliation of so much killings oft their country men. possibilities are always at play also, doesn’t mean they did but look at the way they we’re scalped, no noise, nobody saw anything and they leave close to each other in the vicinity,. ninja per say are professional hit people that can do such things, it’s not a theory but it’s my point of view. hope this doesn’t offends anybody blogging.
Who cuts throats to kill people?
Maybe a cartel, maybe Hezbollah — sadly, they are both players on our streets now.
I say all foreign drug dealers and terrorists should be treated like spies or fighters caught out of uniform, just a summary trial and execution on the spot. No need for crooked lawyers.
This is a well organized plan. People whom these four trusted knew they would be together at that place at that time and they wanted all four at the same time, they did not want to have to do this in pieces, think about it. These four knew their killer, it was not the GSU. They scammed someone out of drugs or money and this is a message being sent. They knew their killers
Just look across the border to Mexico, how does the MS13 or the ZETAS deal with rivals or traitors, they cut off their heads and hang them from trees and bridges. GSU’s have access to silencers they can kill with guns. This was up front and personal. I believe whom ever did this killed them one at a time and let each one watch as they kill them one by one. They wanted them to feel the terror, they wanted to see them scared
I read with great interest the news report and the input posted, and I am amazed at how many think that this is a bad thing. When law abiding citizens are held hostage by a certain percentage of criminals there comes a time when something has to be done.
If there is a death squad, and I don’t believe there is one, although I do not condone this type of violence, I say more power to them as long as they are targetting the ones who are truly the problem and not innocent people. The government is not doing anything to protect the citizens, the courts let these guys out from murder charges, only to kill agian and the people have no recourse but to lock themselves away in their homes. Thank goodness there are four less terrorist around.
Could these four have been a part of planting the grenade and ammunition under the church,. Could they have been planning something horrific to do like blowing up the church with people in it to see who can kill the most people at one time. We don’t know what is in the minds of the criminals, now there are four we don’t have to guess what they might have been planning to do.
Think about the two brothers that must have sat around and made plans to go out on new years night and just pick out innocent people to kill, is that ok. If you understand the gang mentality that tell these gang members it is ok to kill people please explain it to me.
Think people, the country is under seige by these thugs, don’t you want to go back to being able to sit on your steps and verandah without being afraid. Don’t you want your children to be able to go to the store and not be killed on the way. Have you become so use to being a hostage that you do not care.
Right about now I am just glad that four down more to go, lets get the job done.
What x says is very entertaining. I mean I study a lot about these cartels and ghost which is the guy from manantee was in an area where there are a lot of drugs right now. But that doesn’t immediately point out that it was indeed a cartel killing. We need some experts from out the country to do a independent investigation into this matter. It isn’t the first time a cartel attacked George street so these men knew what to expect but this is all speculation. The Gsu or whichever Governmental hit squad that did this had an mo. the way the killing was done may have indeed been staged that way so they could point there fingers at someone else perhaps the cartel. The fact of the Matter is that there is no justice in belize. People get charged for here say with no evidence all the time and when they do win their case less than 1 percent sue the police, therefore from the get go we aren’t living in a democracy where laws are followed by even the lawmakers. Also many lives are destroyed because of this pick u up and charge you without any evidence mode that our police follow.Guys look at a show called the first 48. No matter how the police know that you did a crime you don’t get charge without them having enough evidence to prove without a reasonable doubt. If they picked you up and charged you for murder and it wasn’t you. your life is done because from then on the streets has a price on your head.!!! I live in the streets and I know the streets
The only cops they would have let in without any noise would be the crooked cops like themselves, so I am sure they were executed by one of their own (cop or not) and it had to be more than one to have killed them all this way so easily and quietly that in the wee hours of the morning no one else heard.
How can the government allow the citizens to be so terrorized. Law enforcement and BDF should have been on the streets in full force to keep the calm. These …….. are only bad when they are not met with real force. Belize City is small with only two ways out! This is CRAP!
I agree with all of you who feel the GSU are not responsible for these gruesome. @joe lopez, not again, GSU, Justice, Jwewl, Frank Smith, wisdom, Law and Order Kriol, murder beliza, x, Belizean pride, I agree with you All!! And Seletar, you are on point!!! I have a feeling ALL is NOT what it appears to be….The GSU are innocent. There are other forces behind this!!! This is such another sad, sad blow to this already too high, murder spree that has somehow, taken over Belize!!! I understand Belize now has the higest murder rate in the Caribbean, passing Jamaica and Trinidad!!! am living in NY but extremely saddned and hurt behind what I hear about the murders taking place in Belize!!! Fellow Belizeans I am praying for our country…It would be nice to see more Belizeans at home get togethermore and organize marches for peace and stricter gun control laws, and laws that allow murderers to walk free needs to be changed. I heard some people talking about Belize and one said, his brother who lived in Belize once told him, murder is the easiest crime to get away with in Belize. Where are the churches, school leaders, parents, businesses, communities???? Together you can make a good difference. But no one seems to care enough to do these things on a regular, until you begin to see positive changes. Get together they way you did for the Jasmine Alert Law. You can make a difference, if you stand united against the evil that is taking over in Belize!!!!
The Belizean population is lest that 400,000 and is very wealthy in natural resurces but, it only benifits those that run the country and the wealthy they live like kings and yet most of its citizens have no jobs. no food to eat. no housing to live, most children go to school hungry every day and they beg people for money on the streets to eat every day. I urge the belizean goverment and the wealthy belizeans that if they truly want God to bless them to stop crime they must provide every belizean citizen JOBS, FOOD, HOMES, QUALITY MEDICAL CARE, CLOTHING, SHOES. WATER FOR ALL, LIGHT FOR ALL. MY BELIZEAN PEOPLE GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Looked like they pissed the wrong guys. And yes they reap what they sow.
Kinda stupid to think police would murder people with knife. would think it to be too messy, it would be easier to take them out of the city limits and shoot them. clean work.
Good riddance to bad rubbish! Think of all those mother they have made to hold their heads a cry for their sons that they have killed! You want a good glimpse into how these people think? Go back and watch the news again and listen to the resident they interviewed or just read the news transcripts…”We noh respect nothing or nobody.
Fi dehn lee money, noh even that could buy the pain of weh we deh di feel yo noh.” In case you’re wondering or haven’t figured it out yet, she meant your tax dollars. Your lee money that is being paid to the gangs in the truce agreement.
Then she said… Only because ah his family he [ghost] slow down. In other words, slow down from his normal murder and mayhem!
R.I.P. to the brothers. They surely were no angels but each person had a loving side to them. What people fail to realize is that George street did not let the city erupt into the chaos that it is presently in. Gangs have been existing in Belize for years, the level has just excelled because the Govenment has allowed it too reach to the level it is in. The money that these scum bags steal should be used to improve our country. Pay attention to the tides soon gangs will start shooting at the police and that will be a start to a mini gorilla war. There are many other gangs within the city that has heavy artillery in there arsenal also. Maybe we should use our energy to pray for the jewel.
I don’t care who killed them….point is they are dead…..if one of those men killed a really good citizen of belize then everybody would be saying hend dem heng dem kill them….line them up and shoot them……
they are dead now be happy thats what u all wanted they just didnt get kill the way u wanted to…..Violence will be done when all the Violent ones are gone
@Wisdom, gangsters are pure evil, and it is moral to hate evil. When people lose the willingness or ability to identify evil and hate it, they lose their path and even the ability to figure what is good and what is not.
Near the end of Psalm 97 it says, “Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.”
There are other places where the Bible says to hate evil. God hates evil, and that’s good enough authority for me.
For those people that believe that the butchering of these men was good for the country, well I really don’t think they understand the implication of this level of violence or extreme brutality. This extreme killing elevated Belize City into the big time! Like Mexico and its drug wars that left thousands of family destroyed from the lost of love ones not to mention a wrecked economy, a very scary place to travel to or though. The butcher(s) of these men are not known or probably never will be known which means, Belize have very extreme people not fit to live among civilize people living among them. Bad + Bad doesn’t equal good.
Chicken come home to roost, sounds like a drug deal gone bad.
First of you most of you up here as ignorant with your live by the gun, die by the gun philosphy when most of you are probably doing horrible things too. No body on here is free of sin so dead all that. My cousin was one that was executed and he was executed because he was a witness – Not a member but a witness. Half the time people get here talking about Belize this and Belize that but half are up here forgetting what Belize is like, you got a taste of the foreign life and got blinded forgetting about those you left behind as well as the country that raised you. No one just lets anyone in their vicinity especially at that time of the morning and for someone to go into the root of George Street at execute members with knifves is a suicide mission – who does that. This has higher authorities or possibility a cartel vibe all over it. The reason we hear about all the crime in Belize is because Belize is small that everything makes the news. In the the states these things happen too, ALL day EVERY day. I agree something needs to be done but now we have to sit down and reasonable come up with a solution to handle the crime problem.
