Police charge suspect in death of Keith Lewis
In June of 2012, twenty-one year old Keith Lewis was gunned down in the Lake Independence area in what was classified as a gangland slaying. He was ambushed by three men and shot multiple times, and his body was discovered the following day. Seven months later Police have a suspect. This morning, twenty-one year old Belize City resident, Kenyon Dominquez appeared unrepresented before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer, where he was read the charge for the indictable offense of murder in the shooting death of Keith Lewis. No plea was taken and Dominquez was remanded to the Kolbe Correctional Facility until March fifth 2013.


I hope that there is solid evidence to prosecute this person and not let him walk if he is guilty. I am pleased to see that they the police continued to work this case.

Now I hope I can congratulate DPP on a successful prosecution. I’ll buy the rope for his sentencing.
