Suspect shot inside home
A man was shot this morning in Orange Walk Town. Reports suggest that at nine-thirty this morning, four undercover officers drove to the San Lorenzo Housing Site in Orange Walk Town where they forced themselves into a building. Inside one of the bedrooms was twenty-six year old Jose Luis Sosa, his girlfriend and their newborn child. The girlfriend claims that without provocation the officers shot Sosa in the leg. According to neighbors, Sosa handed the two-week old baby to his girlfriend when they were exiting the building and ran into the nearby bush. The officers fired several shots in his direction and proceeded to search the overgrown area for Sosa. The video of the scene was provided courtesy of our friends at CTV3 in Orange Walk. It is reported that Sosa was wanted by police for criminal offenses and that in the company of an attorney, will hand himself over to police.

Big advise to the young ladies out there, STOP getting into relationship with criminals it’s not only you who will suffer but your kids now and in the future.
I see down the streets when I walk beautiful teens with some lazy @$$ street guys hugging up, can we just get realistic teens? bet if a well dressed young man come up to them they wont budge cause they like the rude guys, but see the consequences that happens later, no pone intended but the truth.

How can the police enter this man’s home and shoot him, in front of his child and girlfriend???? Supposed the baby or mother had gotten the bullet instead???? SMH, I am trying to understand the logic. The man obviously did not have a gun, but he was holding his baby and still got shot!!!
How can the cops enter a home with a young family and start shooting. Belize is not safe from the thugs in uniform. We need more controls. What happened to the days where the police used a night stick? Guns are deadly. I fear more families will be broken up due to “Investigation”.
