N.T.U.C.B. removed from Social Security Board

There is significant news emerging of union representation on the boards of Social Security and B.E.L. News Five has been able to confirm that President, Dylan Reneau, and General Secretary, Elena Smith, have been removed from their positions on the board of Social Security, where they represented the social sector for years. The unions have appointed Lorelei Westby and Phillip Tate to the S.S.B. in their places. In other interesting news, there has been another new appointment to the S.S.B. Former Chairman, Lois Young, left the Board to take up an appointment as Belize’s Resident Ambassador to the U.N. in New York. Her son, businessman Anwar Barrow has now been appointed to the S.S.B. Board and returns to the B.T.L. Board replacing Ariel Mitchell.

And that brings us to the board of the Belize Electricity Limited, where S.S.B. enjoys representation by virtue of its investment in that utility company. With Mitchell out of B.T.L, he was quickly named to the B.E.L. Board. Confused? Well, the end result and bottom line is that with those moves, there are now two government representatives from S.S.B. on the Board of B.E.L. – Ariel Mitchell and Ambassador James Murphy. There is no representative of the social sector on that board.
And then the UDP has become everything they’ve critized. The UDP has become the PUP! Less than 1 year into their second term, they have been just as cocky and distant from everything they’ve preached. So disappointing, what options do we have left.

Wow give all the power jobs to family members. Just kike North Korea, Communist Chine, Cuba, and so on.

Anwar Barrow brings nothing to the Board of Directors, no skills. no training, no academic qualification, other than son of the PM. and the everybody in the UDP gets offended with the KING BARROW billboard. but it is so appropriate I vote to bring it back. divulge what is the stipend for these board members. and other perks, like free internet and 50% off phone bills. make that public

People why are we complaining? All these things were happening from the last udp term but we were so in love with them we vote them back in for some more and i bet we will vote them back in for a third go round of even more! Lol enjoy!
