Local artist finds Jesus
Call the name Troy Busano and most people might not know who you’re talking about…but say Taprick and instantly the songs Tip Pan Yu Toe and Ride Like Wah Jockey come to mind. This young Belizean sensation is well known for his fast paced tunes which have become local dance hits. And apart from taking the music scene by storm with his catchy beats, Taprick is also a prolific artist whose fourth album is being released today. News Five got a sneak peek at Taprick’s latest video, and it’s a little different from what you might have come to expect from him. Here’s a look at a song entitled – Jesus from Above.

The new album, called Sheriff In Charge A Haterz, offers a little bit of everything including Punta, Reggae, Paranda and Slow jams and features collaboration with other local artists including Positive Vibes, Reckless, Consego and Continental Cat. If you’d like to purchase a copy of the new album you can contact Taprick at telephone 634-1507.

I’d be happy if some popular artist would really put the message of the Bible into modern music, so young people would remember it. A society that lives without morality is just in a state of decay.
