Police want to question Moses Sulph about sexual allegation

There is a serious allegation tonight against a well known community activist. The report involves a charge of sexual abuse against Moses Sulph by a young woman from Belmopan. She alleges that she was assaulted on Tuesday night at a house in the capital. News Five contacted the Police Press Officer, Rafael Martinez who confirmed the report and told News Five that Sulph is wanted for questioning. The fire brand activist has not answered any calls made by News Five nor requests for answers through his online social media account. About midday today Sulph made a posting on his Facebook page in which he said “God Why are you allowing me to drink from the cup of tribulation, all I have tried to do is be the best person I can be, please make haste to my deliverance because the burden I am allowed to bare now is too heavy, I cannot see how this could be another test of faith. Deliver me from lies and false allegations for my existence lies in your hands…”
Moses should get a lawyer and try to find out if there is DNA evidence from whatever occurred. If there is, he could give a voluntary sample and clear himself — unless he is guilty as charged.
Early in his career as a student activist I had hopes he might be part of a new breed of honest reformers that we desperately need in the Jewel — but his actions have generally showed bad judgment and big ego. Less impressed by him in recent years.
But I also recognize it is easy for a person to make an unsubstantiated charge of almost anything, so if charges are brought I hope there is corroboration and clear evidence, so it is not just another political persecution.
His public prayer is interesting — let’s see how sincere it is.
This man is indeed guilty of these crimes. He has been doing this for long time now. Woman should stay away from study groups with him, he pretends to be there’re to help people and when alone he attempts to take advantages of you sexually.
