Shooting victim speaks from hospital bed
Late this evening, News Five spoke to Cervantes from his hospital bed at Belize Medical Associates Limited. Cervantes says that the area was so dark that he could not see who their assailant was.

“I di go home, but then somebody mi ask me fi wah lee plate a food to weh mi deh with me. So I tell them I just send somebody dehn wah bring it. We di walk through the alley and I di go through my back alley to go to my house. And then I see this young bwai just walk up to we and just put it pan the two ah we. Shot me ina my chest and turn the gun pan he and shot he and look fi turn back pan me but I neva give he di break to shot me again. Then from there I di try fi reach hospital. I done get shot so I noh di hang up. I noh know young bwai from nowhere. I noh know if the person weh I mi deh with mi got problem with dehn. The bullet broke one of my ribs and come out through the back. So dehn have wah tube ina mi di drain out the blood cause the lungs mi done collapse…or is it life threatening… as long as I noh hassle myself and take it cool… right remedy… come back to natural. Look fi come shoot me again.”

Guess you’re one”lucky” guy!!! Too dark to see who the attacker was but yet ONE shot and it hit him in the head. Good Shot! Maybe they should hire you to teach the police/bdf a few things.
