Coye blames prominent attorney or case against him
But after accusing four public officers of perjury, Coye continued swinging at his accusers. Coye alleged that he was the victim of trumped up charges which he felt were malicious, vindictive, filled with hate and greed. He accused a prominent attorney for laying those charges against him.
Jose Coye, Vindicated
“I think it was done with malice. I am convinced it was vindictive hate and it was greed. They knew from the outset, Lois Young was behind this case along with Vega, but she in particular. She knew that there was no evidence, but she wanted to put a case together. And she did to get it to the court. Then of course she had to withdraw for whatever reasons. And they knew because the audit was done; and even after the audit was done, the C.E.O. at the time mentioned to one who called and said what you gonna do. He said well it is not for me because the audit in fact showed that there was nothing wrong. There were sales of lots that took place in the Caribbean Shores by the present government and there were seven lots that were left in the project. At this time the project was practically completed. All the lots were developed; they all had electricity and water and there were seven left on the canal side. The minister, then minister and now minister, Gaspar Vega, sold those lots at the behest of Carlos Perdomo, the then area representative, to members of his family. Said Perdomo, Armeid Gabourel, some Lisa—I can’t remember all the names right now, but I remember those. The seven lots were sold to them for two thousand five hundred each. These lots were developed; they were no longer as they were in the beginning. And those evidence were produced in the court. Our lawyers, my lawyer in particular and the other lawyer, gave an order to the court which the court ordered the lands department to produce those evidence. And yes there were some delays, but in the end, they did produce them in the court that they were sold for that price. There were also two lots sold near to the project to Audrey Wallace, who sits in the Prime Minister’s office, and those lots were sold for just over three thousand each with electricity, water road and bugger than these lots. There was a lot sold to Omar Burns, former driver of Carlos Perdomo, right in the West Landivar area—not far from the project—a bigger lot than this one. And it was sold for just three thousand and odd dollars. We were able to produce in court from the order given by the court to the land’s department that in 2009, the very Prime Minister did just bought his lot on Seashore Drive and paid six thousand each for lots that were developed, seaside and bigger than any of these lots.”
The government of Belize will pay the cost of court which is yet to be defined.
A pity i could not get one of them super cheap prime lots. Why belize so full of corruption? We change monkey fu black dog. Next go around belizeans need to vote for who will grow the economy and create jobs because all of them corrupt but only the blue share the proceeds with the poor people.
The lots Joe Coye sold were undeveloped and unfilled virgin mangrove, so Cheop would had to put in roads and drains. The ones the “black dog” sold were filled and developed…and sold for LESS. You do the maths.
The nerve Joe Coye and the pup have…..
They thief so much and still vex when u tell them wat they did
DA SO WE IN THE PUP DO IT
LOL at Buju. Did (s)he hear the names mentioned that got lots for 2 grand?

LOL indeed, I agree with Shalom and Deron… Check what the ‘black dog’ is still doing at the lands department and then talk.
Anyone notice the tons of real state companies selling our land in belize?you see in order for a real state company to sellland in belize they need a license(lands department corruption)then when they sell lands they need lawyersto work the papers(udp or pup law firm lawyers take care of it.big time corruption people.
If it weren’t a story of corruption against our nation, Coye’s long recital of other thieves would be funny. Apparently his real defense is “we’re all thieves, so leave me alone.” And he’s probably right, but I hope one day we rise up and crush the thieves in office and start over with a strong constitution and new political parties from which all the crooks of the past and present are excluded.
