Generator missing from hospital compound
An investigation is ongoing into a missing generator from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The gen set is the property of Gary Longsworth; the hospital’s C.E.O. and was apparently stolen from the generator room located at the rear of the hospital. The theft wasn’t reported until last Wednesday but the item had been stored since last year October.
I’m just curious why the generator belongs to the CEO as an individual instead of to the hospital — who paid for it?
Smart criminals steal from hospitals.
Then they know where to go when they get shot, stabbed, or just sick.
Unfortunately their crimes weaken the hospitals, who then can’t afford to help them or their families.
How about that clinic that was destroyed to steal the copper.
Now those medical tests can’t be done in Belize, so they will cost a lot more.
Smart-stupid criminals, leading Belize’s future into greater poverty.
Crushing the jewel into a fine useless powder.
And what is the property of Gary Longsworth doing at a public, government hospital? Leaves you to wonder many things…
How is it dat the hospital cannot afford to own a genarator & da CEO can?? Is he renting it to da hospital & capitalizing on Gov $$$$$,another waste of Gov spending
Why was Longworth’s generator in the hospital’s generator room? Scratch the surface — I would bet a shilling he is renting it to the hospital for a tidy monthly profit. If I’m wrong, my apologies in advance, but I’ve come to expect hospital officials treating its accounts as their own ATM.
