U.S. fugitive caught in Belize

An American fugitive has been caught in Belize. US national, Daniel Rae Morris, who attempted to re-enter Belize at the Corozal border with Mexico on Wednesday March twenty-first, had a Belizean passport in his possession. But something was apparently wrong with the information on the seventy year old passport. As it was later revealed the passport was issued to a Belizean with a different name. Morris was taken to Corozal Magistrate Court on Thursday and according to court records for case number 300/13 he was fined two thousand Belize dollars. A query was issued into Morris’ background and it was revealed that he is a fugitive, wanted in the United States. Morris was expelled today from the country.

  1. Storm says:

I’d like to exchange him for a fugitive from our justice named John McAfee.

Does anyone know or care how the investigation into the murder of Mr. Faull is going? There was a report that the FBI was going to lend a hand, but I wonder if anything came of that.

    @Storm
If GOB wanted McAfee, all they have to do is issue an arrest warrant for murder.
His lawyers will fight it, but there is an extradition treaty between the US and Belize.
I guess those bullets in McAfee dogs did not match Faull.
It was all show with GOB, they have nothing.
It just got people’s attention off GOB, onto a crazy rich American who still has Belize citizenship.
They could revoke his Belizean passport, but they can’t seem to do that.

Any news on the Hezbollah passport? more dirt under the rug, these cases go nowhere.
arrest some tourist for cannabis, $1000BZ fine.
Belize passports seem to be worth two joints in the wind.
    now that is news.

    As for yesterday’s news:
“But something was apparently wrong with the information on the seventy year old passport.”
???”But something was apparently wrong with the information on the seventy year old’s passport.”
    which is it?

    >”he was fined two thousand Belize dollars.” $1000USD seems cheap.
Counterfeit Belize passports illegally bought from GOB $500 BZ; $2000 if you get caught.
He should have gotten hard time in Hattieville for having fake Belize government documents.
Pretty much says to the world “Belize passports and government documents” are a joke and GOB does not take it serious. But if you don’t have a real government, I guess that makes sense.
