P.M. out of the country for Easter holidays

Dean Barrow

Thousands of Belizeans have begun the annual migration to coastal communities within the country to enjoy their Easter vacation near the waterfront.  Others will await the results of the Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic before departing for their weekend jaunt.  Among those who have opted to travel abroad is Prime Minister Dean Barrow, who departed the country earlier today on personal leave.  During his absence Deputy Prime Minister Gaspar Vega will be holding over as leader of the nation.  P.M. Barrow is expected to return to Belize on Easter Monday.

I wonder what percentage of the Belizean population can afford to go to the USA or other places abroad on vacation.
    I bet not many.
We Belizeans have a hard time to afford to go to the coastal areas for more than a day.

PM getting a break anywhere outside of Belize will be a great break for him, and a benefit for all Belizeans.

Few things give instant perspective as going to a different place, and our PM needs a lot of perspective!!!
