3 years in prison for aggravated burglary
A man who participated in a home invasion in January 2012 will spend three years behind bars at the Belize Central Prison after he was found guilty of aggravated burglary today. The incident occurred at the Ladyville home of Esmeralda Glastonbury, located at mile eleven and three quarter on the Phillip Goldson Highway. Glastonbury, her husband and son were held at knifepoint and tied up by three men who entered their house. The house was ransacked and the men made off with some jewelry, appliances and other items in the family’s Isuzu Rodeo. The men were not apprehended, and two months later Glastonbury was in Burrell Boom when she saw one of the attackers and called the Police. He was detained and identified as Percival Blancaneaux. Today, when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith, Blancaneaux said nothing in his defense, and was sentenced to three years at the Belize Central Prison. The other two men involved remain at large.

Three years seems like a sentence for theft from an empty house, not the violent crime that occurred here. The animal should die in prison.
oh ok so a burglary charge is 3 yrs?……How bout the murders who killed innocent ppl because of their ignorance…no type of crime is ok and one should pay for their evil actions….just like how this punishment is overrated just for a burglary…..be harsh on the murders too.
