7 persons on bail for 3 house burglaries
Seven persons are currently on bail for charges related to the burglary of three government-constructed houses on the George Price Highway. Two men, twenty-six year old Michael Godoy and nineteen year old Adrian Avaloy were jointly charged with three counts of Burglary. It is alleged that sometime on the eighth or ninth of April, 2013, they entered three homes located at mile one and a quarter on the George Price Highway and made off with a variety of items including interior and exterior doors, fittings and a toilet bowl. Both men pleaded not guilty to the charge and were offered bail in the sum of five thousand dollars each plus one surety in the same amount. Five other persons were charged with Handling Stolen Goods in relation to the same items. It is alleged that some of the items were found in the home of Mark Godoy, a security guard of the Linda Vista area, and other items from the burglary were found in the home of construction worker Louis Robinson, also of the Linda Vista area.
When the home of Robinson was searched his wife and two minor daughters were at home, so they were all charged jointly even though Robinson took responsibility for the items. Mark Godoy, Louis Robinson and his wife were offered bail of four thousand, while the two minors were offered bail in the sum of one thousand. Michael Godoy, Adrian Avaloy and Mark Godoy Sr. are to reappear in court on June sixth, 2013, while the Robinson family is to reappear in court on June fourteenth, 2013.
Thanks, police, good work. While the country is being burned down around us by Alamilla and Saldivar and Vega and Barrow, I appreciate officers still trying to do their jobs well.
