Hell-No.. This Gov’t has officially gone go the dogs. Imaging, Vega is the one Barrow wants to be his successor…SMH

UDP came into power due to PUP corruption. PUP will get back in power due to UDP corruption. How can Belize win ?

until there is 3rd alternative, Belize will never win

Belize needs honest, patriotic, and intelligent Belizeans to govern this country. I am submitting a few names: Audrey Matura-Shepherd, Christina Coc, Mark Lizarraga, Wil Maheia, George and Candy Gonzalez. They would make good candidates for a third party.

NO!!! No!!! No!!!!!!, this is nothing more than giving a license to be a crook. Why not take the money and do something for the poor. This wood is a natural resource which is owned by the country, it is no more than fair that the people benefit . Do something for the elderly and the poor or take the money and update the hospital. Do something other than enrich the government family.

Sometime in the past our current ministers in government wanted to do good for Belize. But MONEY CORRUPTS…and after a while you sell your ideals…you sell your country…you sell you soul to the almighty dollar….I was a PUP and this past election i split my vote cause i saw the PUP wasting our hard earned tax dollars….UDP you are letting me down…a third option will be the way to go…cause i have not seen any of the PUP past ministers make any change…they just lie and wait for thier turn to continue to grab and grab….or i might just not vote any more…this is very very dissapointing….

Vega can sell the woood and pay the government the fair market value but my problem is no one seems to know anything about the value of the wood! Forrestry lady said she has no clue! Can you believe this crap? Now if the head dog has no clue then the people will get the shaft again. The problem is who else in Belize trades internationally? The Forrestry lady Allamia or what ever the heck her name is should be the one doing this deal and cut out the middle man so all the revenue can go to the public, but I just remember she has no clue! As bad as it is it is still better then if the original crooks got it! Sad!

    No, and HELL NO!!!

    What SHOULD be done is:

    1. Lock up Hilmer Alamilla, Gapi, Cawich, Zhu, and Zheng for committing the crime of conspiracy and illegally harvesting and exporting protected rosewood.

    2. Lock up Lisa Alamilla and Saldivar for conspiring to steal contraband rosewood from the government impound.

    3. Identify the people who cut and trucked the rosewood and lock them up.

NO FAVORS FOR CRIMINALS IN THE JEWEL, NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE OR WHO THEY WORK FOR!

    4. Give the rosewood to the Mayan organizations — it was stolen from their communal lands — and carefully monitor that it is properly exporter, with no special deals for crooked relatives, and ALL the money used for public purposes, SUCH AS HIRING SPECIAL CONSTABLES TO PROTECT THE REST OF THE HARDWOODS!

CRIMINALS MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO PROFIT FROM THEIR CRIMES.

    5. Overthrow this crooked, rotten government.

  7. Storm says:

I can’t imagine who the 5% are who voted in the poll to support the government involvement in this crime! Must be the criminals and their relatives.

  8. starbwoy says:

helo no what the government is thinking. This rosewood is from Toledo give it back to the rural communities there it belongs to them they have use for it but not for some joe snuffy to export…..

  9. star bwoy says:

Hell no whats the government thinking. Give it back to the poor they need more than that joe snuffy who will b exporting it…..

  10. Darius Martinez says:

This is rampant corruption and it stinks to high heaven, i remember the promise made by Barrow when in opposition, “i will not tolerate not a whiff of corruption”, guess he is suffering from a sinus problem and is no longer able to smell.
