Accident or intent? Cop shoots foot of North Creek resident
A Belize City man is tonight recovering from a gunshot wound to the foot…not at a medical facility, but in fact at the Queen Street Police Station. Arnold Anderson was detained for weed following a search at his house, but the family is saying the cops are covering up the shooting by a female officer. Anderson was at his North Creek house socializing with his brother and a friend when just after one this afternoon; several police officers entered the yard to conduct a search. Complying with the orders of the officers, the men were reportedly placed along the fence and searched while the three houses in the yard were ransacked. Moments later, a single shot rang out; Anderson was shot to the left ankle. According to the officers, it was an accident…or at least that’s what the police are claiming says his sister.

Anderson says that they will sue the police department for the incident.
I would say it was an accident with intent.
More evidence that police need more and better training.
