Gaol Lane resident charged with murder

Three days of intensive investigation into the senseless murder of Belama resident, twenty-one year old Dennis Rajiv Gonguez, police have made an arrest. This afternoon, nineteen year old Travis Tyler Navarro, of Gaol Lane in Belize City, was arraigned for Gonguez’s murder before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith. On Monday evening, just before six, gunshots rang out on North Front Street. A lone gunman lay-waited Gonguez and pulled the trigger when he exited the Brown Sugar Compound. Several bullets found their mark on Gonguez causing his immediate death on the pavement in front of Brown Sugar near the San Pedro Water Taxi Terminal’s main entrance gateway. The gunman is believed to have been waiting for his victim across from the terminal by Saint Mary’s Church from where he had clear view of Gonguez. Navarro was remanded to custody at the Belize Central Prison until June twenty-sixth, his next court date. Gonguez was the son of Meteorologist, Dennis Gonguez. The cause of death has been ascertained as massive brain damage.
He looks like the devil. Oh my, look at his face. Anger is all over him. It is sad.
Sure the cops found him. And very fast at that. How about looking for the killers of my two brothers. Wait you had one in jail and let him go free even with 20 witness to the crime 13 years old case. And the other from my under standing the cops did it 7 years old case. what about those crime. I am knocking the cops for doing their jobs but sometimes they don’t do it unless you are someone.
Now it’s his turn to die.
No mercy for murderers, no exceptions.
How did we get to this place as a country, how are we raising such angry young people. As I child we use to have such fun hanging out at night, playing and laughing. Now the kids hang out to wait for someone to kill.
How did Navarro know that Ganguez was going to be at the terminal at that time, sounds like a set up to me. If the PM would activate the death penalty these thugs would think before they strike.
