5 family members robbed a cab driver
A group of five family members including a fourteen year old minor was today arraigned on a single charge of robbery. Allegations are that last Saturday, the group robbed taxi-driver, Nestor Galindo of his personal items including a cell phone and radio. On arraignment, they appeared before Magistrate Dale Cayetano. Charged were siblings: Cathelee Reyes, her 14-year-old sister, who is in standard six student; Keisha Westby, and two males, Kevin Alvarez and Kareem Williams; all residents of Supal Street in Belize City. After charges of robbery were read against them they were remanded because of the use of a firearm. The fourteen year old minor was remanded to the Belize Youth Hostel while the others were all remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
The five pleaded not guilty and are to return to court on June twenty-seventh. Galindo claims that on the night of May fourth, four women boarded his taxi in front of the Commercial Center and chartered him to transport them to Benbow Street in Belize City. In the area of Supal Street, Galindo claims he was asked to pull over by one of the women so that she could get money. The women exited his taxi, then a man approached the driver’s window and pointed a gun in his face. He claims he was threatened to turn off the engine and then another assailant cocked a gun at him and pointed it in his face threatening him not to move. As he was held up, he was robbed of his personal belongings and cash.

Armed robbery demands a long prison sentence for everyone involved.
The minor needs to be taken away from that sick family for her own good, before it’s too late for her.
Five family members, and none of them share the same family name — evidence of a dysfunctional family right there, I believe. A good illustration of why Belizzean society is circling down the toilet drain.
Let’s see, what word I could think of?? Hmmmmm
