Woman who destroyed building’s security cam pleads guilty

Honduran national, Paula Franco must pay the court five hundred dollars for damaging a three hundred dollar surveillance camera or go to jail. The court has also ordered Franco to pay businessman, Carlos Mendoza, three hundred and fifty dollars in compensation for the damages. Forty-one year old Franco was this morning arraigned before Magistrate Dale Cayetano for the offense; she pleaded guilty and was fined forthwith a total of eight hundred and fifty dollars. Mendoza reported to the police that the night camera which was located at the exit of his building on Pine Street in Belize City was not working.  When he went to review the camera, he caught Franco in the act. She climbed on the rail of the premises and damaged the equipment.

    Take her money, then kick her out of the Jewel. We have all the homegrown criminals we can use, we don’t need to import lowlifes.
