Uncle and nephew shot in barbershop

Two relatives were shot over the weekend and one of them is clinging to life and the other is in critical condition. On Saturday night at around seven-twenty p.m., twenty-four year old Arthur Baptist and his uncle forty-four year old Melvin Baptist were socializing inside Melvin’s Barbershop on Neal’s Pen Road in South side Belize City. A relative said the men were watching a sporting event inside the shop when two men rode up, entered the shop and fired several shots. Arthur received gunshot wounds to the left side of his head, while his uncle was shot to the back of the head.  The scenes of crime unit found seven nine-millimeter expended shells at the location of the incident. Both men were taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a critical condition. The Baptist family declined to comment and police are seeking two suspects for this latest shooting incident.

    More people with guns who need to be killed, not just recycled back onto the streets.

    If the police and courts cannot or will not protect law-abiding people, then those law-abiding people are justified in protecting themselves through vigilante committees.

    Prayers for the recovery of these two victims.

    Where are these criminals getting the guns? people are just getting shot and kill randomly and no one is responsible for these crimes,on the news you hear people getting kill but you do not hear who got prosecuted for the coward act of murdering innocent people.
