Should there be an independent investigation on 13 newborn deaths?

And tonight’s question is: Do you believe that an independent investigation other than internal inquiry should be carried into the deaths of thirteen babies at the K.H.M.H? Yes or No? 1. Storm says:

Of course there must be an outside, independent investigation. I really feel we need to look outside Belize, maybe to the British of American Medical Association, to have a truly qualified, impartial review that won’t be influenced inappropriately.

Some people failed at the hospital, and many babies died, and there are still 6 more unexplained baby-patient deaths during the same time period.

I don’t care a whit about protecting the staff or managers at KHMH, the only important goal is to protect patients who entrust their very lives to the hospital.

Wherever objective evidence points, there should be professional discipline and perhaps even manslaughter prosecutions. No excuses, no favoritism, no political interference.
