Indian national busted with fake visa

An Indian national who arrived in the country on Monday via Taca at the Philip Goldson International Airport was detained soon after he set foot in the Jewel.  Instead of experiencing the natural beauty of Belize, twenty-two year old Lovepreet Singh Dhaliwal was held overnight and this morning he was arraigned for attempting to use a visa not issued by lawful authority. According to immigration personnel, Dhaliwal had in his possession Indian passport K-zero-nine-four-eight-seven-eight-three in which there was a visa purportedly issued on June twenty-first. After checks with Belmopan by the Immigration Department, there were no records that the visa was legitimate. In court, Dhaliwal pleaded guilty to the offense and was fined two thousand dollars which he was ordered to pay immediately. A removal order was also issued for his expulsion back to India.
