Ladyville couple is accused of tag-teaming and sexually abusing a minor

Almost every week night there is at least one instance of sexual deviants preying on minors to report. Each of those crimes is heinous in its own right, but tonight one such case is doubly so. That’s because on Tuesday, it is alleged that a couple from Ladyville tag-teamed to sexually assault a fourteen year old girl. The minor visited the Police Station in Ladyville in the company of her mother to report the crime. She told officers that on Tuesday at noon, she was walking in the Hollywood Area of Lord’s Bank when a white car pulled up. In the car was a man she knew as John, and a woman who was introduced to her as Stacey. They reportedly invited the minor to join them on a joyride to Cayo, where they bought food before returning to Ladyville. The minor claims that they went to John’s home in Ladyville, located on Myrtle Waight Street, where she says she was given marijuana to smoke. It’s a disturbing story, but it gets much worse. The minor claims that the woman, Stacey, then performed oral sex on her. And when she was done, the man, John, then had sex with her.

The minor was taken for a medical examination, where a doctor certified that she had been carnally known, and classified her injuries as grievous harm. Police then detained thirty-year old John Williams and his girlfriend, twenty-seven year old Stacey Leslie. Williams was today charged with one count of aggravated assault of an indecent nature. No plea was taken from her, and she was granted bail of one thousand dollars, two hundred dollars to be paid immediately. John Williams was read the more serious charge of unlawful carnal knowledge. No plea was taken from him and he was remanded to Belize Central Prison. Both Williams and Leslie are to reappear in court on October twenty-ninth.
