According to the prime minister, the inquiry cannot focus on the nationality section of the department since it is the minister’s signature that was affixed to the document.

He doesn’t issue the passport but he signs the nationality certificate and in this case the nationality certificate that was involved in the whole chain of events that saw this gentleman, if I can call him that, or this South Korean national obtain the Belize passport. That nationality certificate was signed by honorable Penner. Therefore, how are you going to look at the officers in the nationality section? They didn’t do anything except to provide the file in the normal course when the minister called for the file. They didn’t have to sign the nationality certificate.”

Sound to me that the PM is back peddling on this situation. I believe he is afraid to lift the veil, because if he does he won’t like what he finds underneath. I believe there is a ton load of illegal things that took place, this incident just happened to be the one that surfaced this time.
How do you sell out your country, how do you set the entire country up for illegal criminals to come in, when you do not know the minds and the hearts of these people. The safety of the whole country is at stake. This is treason and Penner should pay the price.
In Belize only give work permits and visas for criminals and prostitutes working for the Chinese. people who meet all the rules that the country has imposed to get a passport visa or work will have to wait years and pay for it.
