Landy Espat says there is need for a re-registration exercise
The involvement of Elvin Penner in the issuance of nationality certificates and passports has far reaching implications. Earlier today, Landy Espat, a member of the Elections and Boundaries Commission, wrote to its chairman, B.Q. Pitts. Espat, who has years of experience under his belt in the electoral process, says in his view there is great need to insist on a re-registration exercise as mandated by the Representation of the People Act. This, he says, is to clean up the voters list. Espat says that the exercise has to be done because there is now a shadow and doubt on the integrity of the voter’s lists since just before and after the General Elections, Penner personally signed and facilitated nationality to persons who did not qualify and these persons participated in our national elections. Espat says that it is the duty of the Commission to safeguard the electoral process and it is their sacred duty to see that only Belizeans who qualify will vote in our Elections.
watch out Landy,
it is the UDP you are dealing with. They stole the last election, creating citizens, stuffing boxes, running off voters.
You may have to use armed security guards to escort people to the polling places. Have people counting people coming and going in the building. if 40 people come and 400 vote for Penner, you know the math and the bloodbath that will create.
