Whistleblower makes an official report on the visa hustle involving Edmund Castro

Prime Minister Dean Barrow finds himself in a conundrum tonight having returned to the country to face another major accusation of corruption in his administration. We will have what happened on his return coming up. But first, the claims against Minister of State Edmund Castro are now official and have been taken up to another level. Late this evening, the person who came forward revealing that Castro collected hundreds of thousands of dollars, made an official report to the Ombudsman, Lionel Arzu. After meeting with him, her compelling story was recorded by the attorney at the office of the Ombudsman. She recounted in detail how the process worked with Castro recommending every single visa for Chinese nationals. Now, the report has been made to the Ombudsman because by law he is answerable to the National Assembly. His appointment is made by resolution in the House of Representatives and Senate. Earlier this week, the individual also met with officials of the United States Embassy speaking to them at length. The statement she is providing to the Ombudsman office will also be presented to the United States Embassy. It has been a week when allegations of corruption were abundant and based on further information provided there is reason to believe that the situation will continue to spiral.

The same man Castrone who just a few minutes before said he knew nothing about any such thing, change his mind when new information showed up. People of Belize, when any of these men denies, and after admit to a few, IT’S BECAUSE… EXTREMELY very LITTLE of that MONEY…. WENT INTO THE GOVERNMENT COFFERS! I don’t know what the price of a visa is at the immigration, but only desperate people are willing to spend huge amount of cash for these things, NO MATTER THE COST. These ministers are not HIDING, their sudden found wealth, it’s in our face for all to see. If the I might have signed a few, could give them those properties they or their family now live in, THEN THAT FEW MUST HAVE HAD SOME TRULY EXORBITANT COST. Are we going to be fooled over and over again, cause these men are insulting our combined intelligence! We have lost CONFIDENCE IN THE WHOLE KABOOGLE, from PM down to CEO, ambassadors, Directors, including Hulsito! We need to see how this hustling change ALL THEIR LIVES, SO WE CAN SAY GOOD BYE! We don’t like the transparency they are showing us, and even the way they are releasing it. If we don’t probe, WE GET NOTHING! They seem more mad with us for asking, than we should be with them!
Amen finally, this administration can no longer hide their ugly heads. I have been praying that God will move and help the people of this country .This government will crumble, the US can no longer ignore what is happening, it would be interesting to note how many of those illegally gotten visas and passports have been used by people to travel to the United States.
Barrow will go down in the history of the country as one of the most inept and corrupt leader in the country’s history.

The whistle-blower is a true Belizean patriot – the Belizean version of Edward Snowden. It takes great courage and resolve to do what she did; may God Bless her and keep her safe. We should dissolve the current Belizean Government and Cabinet, and call new elections – this is the perfect time for a new Third party – no more UPD or PUP; the are both equally corrupted, heartless and treasonous.

why belizeans should care about chinese which go to US? give more visas to everybody. who needs it, sell more pssports! US is not a friend, and never was a friend for Belize. Make more money, dont think about US. THIS KIND OF CORRUPTION IS GOOD FOR BELIZE!
