Castro comments via press release following emergency U.D.P. meeting

Castro’s only comments came via press release today following an emergency U.D.P. meeting. According to the release, Castro makes clear that the allegation was a lie. He was never engaged in any visa ring, and never collected a penny from the woman now turned self-proclaimed whistle-blower. When contacted early last week Thursday, Castro said, “I don’t know anything about any processing of any damn visa. I don’t even know how this package goes. All these foolishness that I am hearing, I don’t know anything about it and I intend to sue.” Later that same day, Castro was contacted again after the name of the informant was provided to him. This time he acknowledged signing one recommendation for a visa, stating “only one I could remember. She visited my office more than once, always came crying hard time, but you know what, I don’t bring her or carry her.”  But that also changed today.  He acknowledged that some time ago, the woman did visit him at his office to seek his assistance. He admits that he recommended five visas. The release states that Castro did so, but it was the one and only time…and states that the recommendation that he wrote was consistent with his role as a politician/public servant. Castro has also threatened to sue this station, but we can say that we stand by our story.

I hope U.S. embassy gets into this soon

  3. Concern says:

He admits that he recommended five visas, which is a change from the previous position of; I don’t know nothing. If the man have any sense left in him he should do the honorable thing and resign. No one is backing down from his threats. Can just imagine the emergency meeting, “You guys have been caught with your pants down, now we have to see how we can destroy the evidence, because we still in CONTROL. Keep YOUR CLAPPERS CLOSED! : ) Sound like another scolding! lol

Lets see who else don’t know anything about this foolishness they are hearing. Penner, Johnnie Zzzz, Castron, Heredias…to be CONTINUED!

Channel 5, please stand by your story. Why is Mr Castro so ready to sue when he claims he has done no wrong? I’m telling you, he is way way too defensive for an innocent man!! Thanks to to MEDIA, we are now experiencing days not foretold when it comes to digging up things. Purification is going on now. Keep it up guys

  5. Al Rich says:

So he finally remember that he signed one document. If he signed one he signed all the others that the whistle blower said. Mr Castro is no different from every other criminal does, they get selective memory, they choose what they remember. I say he is guilty, guilty, guilty, but we know nothing will happen to him.

  6. when the UDP steals, it is legal says:

  7. moses X Castro says:

Watcha Ya!! Look it!! A visa is what? It’s a permission to enter a country for a period of time. US Citizens and some other countries are granted visitation rights without a visa to certain countries. Eastern and Asian and middle eastern countries don’t have the same privileges. The reason is that most first world country citizens visit to spend lots of money on short visits. Other countries are economic tourists who are usually poor and trying to get to the US via countries like Belize. One only needs to apply for a Belize visa through proper channels and can be granted one with a small government processing fee and tax. If the fools are willing to pay $5k FOR A VISA.. Well then, the PUPtook their money and now the UDP has a turn to hustle. So all of you quit bitching. How many of you would pay thousands to get a US visa. Belize has an imbedded history of hustling from the man on the street to the top. All those barking at Castro and Penner would do the same thing. Let he who is not guilty cast he first stone..If some Chiney man want to pay $5,000 for a visa, thats good for the trickle down economy of Belize. And come election time…money trickle down. I know a single mother with 6 pickney who was given a house and lot from trickle down hustling money.
