Opposition Leader wants answers on which ministers are involved to visa hustle

Later in the broadcast, Francis Fonseca, the Leader of the People’s United Party addresses the nation on the immigration scandal. Fonseca says that there are more questions than answers in the scandal that is now forty-five days old and not going away. In his statement, Fonseca says that after calling for the resignation of Elvin Penner and citing new evidence of further irregularities the nation has not been told what these are and who else is involved. There is no independent investigation but there are reports of files being destroyed and a massive cover-up underway at the department of the immigration, says Fonseca. Here is an excerpt:

“Forty-five days later, there is admission by the Prime Minister of an ongoing visa hustle by cabinet ministers, yet no more information has been forthcoming. Who are these ministers engaged in this visa hustle and what is being done to put an end to it? How many visas and passports have been sold? By whom? To whom? Where has the money gone? Belizeans whether P.U.P., U.D.P. or no P at all, are proud of our Belizean nationality and identity. We are outraged at these acts of U.D.P. corruption and the attempt to cover them up. Law-abiding Belizeans travelling abroad may yet suffer hardship and inconvenience as a result of this scandalous debasing of our Belizean passport. The U.D.P. government must know that this matter will not go away until there is a full and impartial inquiry.”

You forgot that the PM gave the ministers permission to open foreign account, so that they can deal with foreign dollars. The people want to know how much money belongs to the government that are in those banks accounts, and who else can sign to take those monies out. I am sure Castro won’t tell, and neither will Johnnie, nor all the rest.
I agree with Fonseca that there should be an independent group investigating this. But Mr Fonseca….back in the days when the PUP was in power and we were down this same road….someone please tell me…who investigated the PUP back then??? Was it the PUP themselves…like is happening now??? Someone please jog my memory!!!
It should no be only the leader of the opposition to stand , we all should as Belizeans, we should stand up and stump out this immigration scandal , and not be taken for fools to suffer while any politician selling our heritage, this is a bad eye for the entire country so it’s not a UDP or PUP thing is for all of us to stand for what is rite .
not only you Mr. Fonseca wants answers me too, a Belizean citizen, a tax payer, the one who works hard so that these scoundrels can live like kings and still thief from the cookie jar while I have to keep paying more tax than ever.
We the Belizean people want answers too. Keep digging channel 5 we are waiting to hear more of this scandal that has our nation as a laughing stock to the world with leader and ministers playing the fool but no fool the believe what they say to our country Belize.
The ‘real’ intelligence community have all the answers you seek…..though when a Zionist controlled govt. Runs or ruins your country comprising of tyrants, subjects and slaves, what should one expect?

In reflection to a comment above posted by one who appears to be concerned, I am compelled to ask a simple question that has continued to be ignored for no good reason.
Why should/would one be Required to have an Oath of Allegiance to one’s party Instead of one’s people? It is because the ‘party’ is party to multiple acts of organized crime and corruption that continues to go unchecked. The weakest link in a chain logic applies here.
