Paul Alvarez shot for a second time in less than a year
A Belize City man is tonight recovering after being shot in the face. Paul Alvarez Jr., aka “Paulie”, became the latest shooting victim on Friday night after he was injured during an incident at the corner of Lovely Lane and Victoria Street. Alvarez, it is reported, was talking to an aunt when a lone gunman on bicycle rode up to him and put a gun to his head. He tried to dodge the gun and was shot in the face. This is the second time for this year that Paul Alvarez Jr. has been shot and lived to tell the tale. In January 2013, he was shot four times inside Ming Ming Shop, a grocery store, just a couple meters away. News Five spoke to his sister who says that Alvarez is currently recovering and is in a stable condition at the K.H.M.H.

Within three days of active investigation into the latest shooting incident, police have been able to crack the case and charge one Belize City man. This morning, twenty year old Albert Robinson, a construction worker of a Prince Street address, was arraigned in the magistrate’s court, where he was charged with one count each of attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. Robinson appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer in the presence of his attorney, Anthony Sylvester. No plea was taken and he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until December thirtieth, when he is scheduled to reappear before the courts.
isn’t this the guy that washes cars by the court. I guess he has 9 lives. If the shot you in your mouth it must be because you talk too much. IDK. Just my opinion.
