Alarming reports of demon possessions in Orange Walk

There have been escalating reports of bizarre behavior by young female students in Orange Walk Town. From the little information we have been able to gather so far, this all started a little over a month ago, and at least ten young girls from different schools have been affected. It is alleged that the incidents include the girls screaming repeatedly in class, hitting and mutilating themselves, vomiting uncontrollably and speaking in different voices. News Five was in Orange Walk on Wednesday, and we were told by numerous sources that even the parents of the girls believe that they have been possessed by demons. Nobody would speak to us on camera, but we have been able to confirm that a foreign priest has been enlisted to visit several of the schools to pray over the afflicted girls. On Thursday News Five spoke to President of the Association of Evangelical Churches Pastor Eugene Crawford. He hadn’t heard the reports, but told us that the idea of demon possession is not as wild and wacky as you would think.

“It is not farfetched. Whilst I don’t have wind of what is happening right now, demon possession is real. People can become demon possessed and there needs to be some spiritual warfare. We need to exercise authority over those demons and to get them out of individuals wherever they are.”

“Have you actually seen something like this happen before?”

“Experientially, I have; a lot of time I’ve dealt with it. You can remember the cases down south a couple years ago, the church—I’m not denominationally, but Christian believers who God uses in these type of experiences—went down to Hopkins; we did quite a lot of work. Again in Benque Viejo Area with this EMC issue. We’ve been hearing less of that because there are a lot of prayers that are going through in this country in those regard. So Orange Walk that is no strange thing. Whenever you ask favors of anything—it could be demonic, whatever—and you don’t go through the proper source in asking God about such things, you can entertain demons in your life. When they find a clean place, they’ll go in take possession and they will cause havoc afterwards.”

Crawford took our query seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he verified those reports and then immediately dispatched a team to Orange Walk. That team is currently on the ground speaking with families to get information and to provide spiritual assistance. This is a story that we will keep following.
