Breaking News: one dies in traffic accident in the Capital

There is breaking news tonight. At about five-thirty this evening, a government vehicle collided into an SUV near the entrance to the hector Silva Airstrip in Belmopan. What we have been able to ascertain is that the SUV swerved to avoid a pothole on the George Price Highway and ran head-on into the government vehicle. Six persons were injured from both vehicles. Two were said to be in critical condition, while the other four sustained varying degrees of injuries. All have been transported to the Western Regional Hospital for urgent medical treatment. But moments ago, one of the accident victims succumbed to his injuries. We will have much more on this story in Friday’s newscast.
