BCCI Supports VIP’s Stance on Corruption
Still on the issue of corruption, the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry says it supports the fight against corruption. The B.C.C.I. singled out the proposals advanced by V.I.P. saying that corruption has over the decades woven itself into our social fabric and is a deterrent to development and destructive to our fragile economy. According to the B.C.C.I., as a result of the corruption such as that revealed by the recent immigration scandal, the global reputation of the country is blighted. Says the BCCI (quote) The practice of circumventing our laws, especially by those elected, appointed or hired to safeguard them, must end in order for Belize to begin to thrive. The only solution is for society as a whole to resolutely adopt a zero-tolerance approach, to refuse to partake in instances of corruption, and to report those who do. (Unquote)

Why should some poor person get two years for stealing $100, and a government official get no time for stealing $100,000?
If you think the Taiwan, US or UK are going to save Belize, you are clueless.
If you are a citizen it is your responsibility to your country to own it.
If you can’t do that then the country will die a slow painful death that cowards get.
And what remains your grand children will suffer.
