Butane prices go up
Consumers of butane, that’s just about every household, restaurant or hotel in the country, are bracing for an additional increase in the cost of fuel. Earlier today, the Belize Bureau of Standards, through a press release, announced a spike in the controlled price of liquid petroleum gas. The increase is countrywide and varies according to the ratio of butane/propane mixture. In September, the cost per hundred pound cylinder went up to a hundred and seventeen dollars. That was a little over four months ago. At midnight tonight, it will climb to a hundred and twenty-five dollars in Belize City, a hundred and twenty-seven dollars in Belmopan and San Ignacio, a hundred and twenty-eight dollars in Benque Viejo del Carmen, a hundred and twenty-six dollars in Orange Walk, a hundred and twenty-five dollars in Corozal, and a hundred and twenty-nine dollars in Dangriga. A tank of butane is most expensive in Punta Gorda where its new price will be a hundred and thirty dollars. The said prices are for the sixty/forty mixture of butane and propane.

VOTE UDP !!!!
LOWER THE COST OF LIVING!!! VOTE UDP!!!
OOOPS…SORRY, DID I SAY THAT?
ELECTIONS SOON AND I MUST VOTE FOR MY PARTY !!!
Lower the cost of living no matter what….UDP promises
YEAH, UDP!!! The Prime Minister has pulled frog-in-boiling water on just about everything that affects our cost of living. He raised gas so high, and when it was brought down, we were happy. But, we forgot that he raised it from $5 a gallon to $12 a gallon, lowered it to $8 a gallon (we were happy, we voted for him again) and then raised it back, gradually, to now hovering around $12 a gallon -/+. This applies across the board. Belizeans, if I were the Prime Minister I would start every speech with, “My fellow stupid Belizeans”
