Police say there are no leads in the murder of Eaton Carr

Eaton Eamon Carr

Prior to the shooting turned murder of Williams on Raccoon Street Extension, the body of another man was discovered on Banak Street. Just before ten on Sunday night, thirty-six year old Eaton Eamon Carr was shot multiple times—to the chest neck and right arm; he died in a drain on Banak Street. Carr, who was a resident of a Holy Emmanuel Street address, was originally from Dangriga and was released from police custody on the Friday before his mutilated body was discovered. While Carr has had a string of run-ins with the law, the motive for his brutal killing remains unknown. Deputy Officer Commanding Precinct One of the Belize City Police Department, Assistant Superintendent Suzette Anderson today implored the public to assist with information on the murder, since there are no leads.

ASP Suzette Anderson, Deputy O.C., Precinct 1, Belize City Police Department

“The investigators are doing their best in terms of investigating this particular crime. So far it has been a bit challenging, due to the fact that the investigation surrounding the death of Mr. Eaton Carr has not been forthcoming to the investigators in order for them to be able to reach to a possible motive of the particular crime. Or even be able to point out any particular suspect in this regards.”

“He was killed, of course, on a street late the night; I believe it was minutes to ten. Nobody saw anything and I do understand that of course he was no stranger to the police.”

ASP Suzette Anderson

“So far no one has come forward and indicates any concrete investigation to assist in that particular murder. Whether someone may have witnessed it and does into come forward with the information we may not be able to know that. But at the same time I recall imploring to members of the public who may have witnessed or heard anything in relation to Mr. Carr’s dead to come forward and provide us with the information for us to assist in this particular investigation.”

This man has victimized so much people that i highly doubt they will ever be able to tell which one of his many victims sent to have him murdered. Like the holy bible says… you live by the gun u die by the gun.

If the above statement is exactly what was said by this police representative, it is no wonder we are in trouble. She cannot even give a decent statement.

Based on the victim’s background it seems no one cares to come forward and give information. This is how bad people usually go, live by the gun, die by the gun.

Although it is very sad to see that another person has been brutally murdered and the new year has just started, My commentary is not pertaining to the lost of the young man, but it is directed to the statement given by the the Police media representative. The stupidity of her statement still has me baffled. I’m sorry but there should be more requirements for these bze police officers before they are inducted to serve and protect us. if they can not even think properly to even provide the public with a decent enough statement as to how their investigation is undergoing, how can Belizeans rely on them to make have proper judgement in protecting them? we deserve answers as to what is going on in out country not uneducated riddles that no one understands but you.

  4. Manning says:
