Ranchito resident, shot in the head by son, dies at the K.H.M.H.

On New Year’s Day, thirty year old Hensleigh Ryan Jones allegedly picked up a gun and shot his father three times in the head. Miraculously, Hensley ‘Nick’ Jones survived, and on January third, his son was arraigned in the Orange Walk Magistrate’s Court for attempted murder and use of deadly means of harm. He was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until March fifth, but he’ll be back in court before that day. That’s because on Saturday, January twenty-fifth, Hensley Jones succumbed to his injuries at the K.H.M.H. According to Corozal Police, they will now petition the courts for the remanded man to be removed from Belize Central Prison. He will then be escorted to the Corozal Magistrate’s Court where the charge against him will be upgraded to murder. As we’ve reported, Jones and his father lived together in the village of Ranchito in the Corozal District. While there has been no information on what caused the altercation between them, News Five understands that their relationship was strained, and had been for a long time.
Seriously, Hensleigh, you need to eat less. All that sugar, salt, excitotoxins, saturated fats… it’s swamping your brain and affecting your judgement. You pull the trigger on the man who had so much hope for you 29 years ago? You should have gone jogging to cool down.

It’s so had to see such a comment that sounds personal and insulting to a human being that has a weight that is not given to him but by creation. If two people are in a house and one ended up shot in the head. His injuries were not self inflicted. Then the other person in the house took off before the cops got there. Then here is the clincher the person that was shot was fully concious when the cops arrived and told to cops who shot him.
I agree he should be given his day in court but he needs to have dam good explanation for the evidence that are stacked up against him!
I Guess some comments are so disgusting at times GOd is the only one to judge no one saw what happen and as far as I know no one will react for nothing but as I said God knows and am sorry for Ryan since he is still young .
Mein come on u guys, unu de miss the point. this has nothing to do with obesity or that the man eat too much and he should have gone run it off and cool down. No one know for sure whe happen ina da house mek this tragedy happen. He and God knows whe cause it. So judgment should be left in the hands of the Almighty God. This is very sad news. I remember the Jones family from 101 cemetery road in Belize city. We were good friends back in the 70’s and 80’s. Again, very sad news.
