The annual Consortium for Belize Educational Cooperation (COBEC)
Officials from the Ministry of Education, as well as stakeholders from across the sector, particularly those belonging to the Consortium for Belize Educational Cooperation (COBEC), gathered in Dangriga for its annual symposium. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the continued strengthening and expansion of higher education in Belize. Present at the launch of the meeting was Minister of Education Patrick Faber.
Patrick Faber, Minister of Education
“I’m very pleased to welcome the participants of this COBEC conference, the Winter Conference as it is called, here to Belize, in particular here in Dangriga. You know, so many benefits have been gotten by the Belizean nation by this partnership with COBEC schools and also many of the schools that are U.S.-based have gotten so much from the partnership with Belize. That’s the beauty about COBEC, it’s the reciprocal relationship that goes on between the partners here of course achieved.”
COBEC was established in the late eighties to link post-secondary educational institutions in Belize with other countries to bolster and increase their expertise in tertiary education.
Another minister that is so glutinous and crooked that before being elected was slim after elected he got fat like Peter Griffin and just as annoying too
