Brazen shooting on Curassow; 2 minors and woman shot
Ongoing enmity between two rival Belize City groups has resulted in yet another brazen shooting, this time at a residence on Curassow Street. On Saturday night, a group of young men socializing inside a yard came under fire when an assailant reportedly rode up to the mouth of the alley and let loose a barrage of gunshots. Injured during the mayhem were seventeen year old Marlon Samuels, seventeen year old Devin Parham and forty-two year old Arlene Cole. Parham was shot near the left ankle, while Samuels and Cole were both hit in their right legs. Upon processing the scene of the shooting, police were able to recover as many as eight, nine millimeter rounds from the area. All three victims were rushed to the K.H.M.H. for medical treatment. The men have since been treated and released. Devin Parham is the younger sibling of Derrick Parham, who was executed gangland style in mid-January, as he was making his way home following a party. The motive for the shooting remains unclear as Belize City police continue their investigation.

I was hoping they will kill each other out and Belize will be left with little gang violence but that won’t happen. I guess they are fighting because they are not paving streets.
