Still no update on criminal investigation of Penner

Since we were circling the subject of the criminal investigation of former Minister of State Elvin Penner, News Five came right out and asked National Security C.E.O., George Lovell, for a status report. In the past couple weeks we’ve done that whenever opportunity presented itself… and the answer has generally been the same. Today was no exception.

“The Police is working diligently to conclude their investigations. Just yesterday I was told that they wanted to investigate one of the Admin Officers, they wanted to question him as a part of the investigation and that was meant to be done and very shortly the files will be given to the D.P.P. for her to look at and for her to lay charges if that is necessary.”

“So can you say if our Minister of State Elvin Penner has been questioned during this investigation?”

“I am not familiar with all the individuals who have been interviewed in the processes, but I know if that is required the police will do that and the DPP will direct if that is required.”
