Cop fighting for his life after falling off his motorbike
A police man of Double Head Cabbage is tonight fighting for his life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following a traffic mishap on a stretch of road in the village. Sometime after eleven on Sunday night, twenty-three year old Police Constable Jahman Flowers was found unconscious on the side of the road in Double Head Cabbage with a cut wound to the right side of his forehead. From what we were able to gather, Flowers was critically injured after he fell from a red Meilum motorcycle as he travelled towards Bermudian Landing; the damaged motorbike was found seven feet away from where he was found. Principal of Belize Rural Primary School, Marilyn Stevens, was one of the first responders to come upon Flowers on the road. Stevens and her family hurried to his aid, but she says that the ambulance took quite some time to get to the scene.
Marilyn Stevens, First Responder
“We were coming from a function in Bermudian Landing for mothers. We left at approximately eleven [p.m.] and while we were nearing the motorcycle on the road, I said, who is such a stupid driver to park with one light on. As we were nearing, we saw that it was a motorcycle on the ground and then I told her to drive on the side and park there. So she went up a little bit, pass two slippers on the road, she stopped and we went. I was the first one to past the person, but before we got out, I said that person looks like Jahman, because I know him and he was here on Friday. We got out and they spot their phone light and said yes, it was him. We shouted for help, while my sister called 911 and got the ambulance while my daughter-in-law called his uncle, who was not too far away and he came along. He was lying down with this hand underneath and then he had the injuries on this side of the face.”

“Now have you been able to understand what really happened?”
Marilyn Stevens
“From what we saw, I believe he was having problem…he lost control apparently and he was trying to fight the fall because underneath of his socks were kinda torn. And the cycle was not far away from him and so maybe the cycle maybe turned and he fell right there. But he was fighting the fall. He was snoring like he was asleep; very loud….he was snoring very loud.”

“Now I understand that the ambulance took quite a time to get here…could you tell us about that?”
Marilyn Stevens
“Yeah, it took quite some time to get there…almost about forty-five to fifty minutes. They said that the road was bad, but that road is not bad at all.”
45 minutes? Buffoons.
the 50,000.00 given to the 17 ministers could have bought at least 4 new ambulances.
