Roger Anthony says safety of his workmen threatened by the series of events

The shooting incident this morning involving Cruz, an associate of Roger Anthony, is believed to have been retaliatory.  When we posed that question to him, Anthony said he cannot ascertain a connection between the two events.  The safety of his workmen, it would appear, is being threatened by the series of events, but Anthony says they have resigned themselves to fate.

“No.  It does have any effect mein.  We are still going to work.  Anywhere dehn put we fi work we still ah work.  Yo check, we wahn continue try do positive things yo dig check.  We noh di try do no retaliation or nothing yo dig check, we just di leff dehn deh fi who dah di big man yo undastand check.  We just wahn continue work once yoh bring di work we wahn work anywhere, yo undastand.”

“How does this ensure the safety of your workmen though, I mean, this may seem to be something that is following you or may be connected to you in some way or the other?  Do you fear as though your workmen’s lives may be in jeopardy as a result of what is happening?”

And as we said, Cruz is tonight on life support having undergone surgery today to repair the damage caused by bullets to the abdomen. Should he recover, another round of surgery is expected.
