“The numbers in Chetumal are going a little bit up and the occupation of the hospitals is also are going a little bit up in comparison with the rest of the state. The thing is that they have been working hard to keep people at home, to keep maintaining the social distancing and also that the understanding the fact that the borders are close this is having a huge impact. They are trying to find ways, meanwhile the borders remain closed, they are trying to find out how to reduce the impact of the loss of commerce and visitors. Quintana Roo is working very hard to start on reactivating their economy and their normal lives but trying to make sure that the health measures, to be safe and to healthy and to not continue spreading the virus are important elements that the government and in general the society are promoting.”
