Manuel Castillo, accused of the murder of Ramon Cervantes Sr., wanted by Interpol
Thirty-seven-year-old Manuel Mendez Castillo remains on the lam, following the heinous murders of seventy-one-year-old Ramon Cervantes Senior and forty-six-year-old Sonia Abac in the Orange Walk District. We can confirm tonight that ‘El Pelon’, as he is also known, is wanted by Interpol, as well as the Belize Police Department for the brutal killings. Castillo absconded along with his pregnant common-law wife, twenty-five-year-old Avicela Duran from their house in Orange Walk. Interpol issued a bulletin for his arrest on its website earlier today. Cervantes Senior, a well-known businessman and former mayor of Orange Walk Town, was abducted from his farm and was murdered on July second; his remains were discovered in a shallow grave near Honey Camp several days later. Abac was reported missing since April twenty-third and her remains were also retrieved from a well in the vicinity. While three men, including twenty-two-year-old Noe Daniel Gonzalez, twenty-eight-year-old Mateo Pott and nineteen-year-old Angel Antonio Cardenas have been arraigned on related charges, Castillo is at large and it is unclear at this point whether he has crossed the western or northern borders.

Arrest those crooked police officers too. Jaime Gongora and those thugs belong in jail for assisting in the murder of Mr. Cervantes. How does a Police issued handcuff end up used in a murder and nothing is done about that?!
