Jack Warner Vows to Expose Sepp Blatter’s Involvement in FIFA Corruption
The controversial FIFA executive Jack Warner has made Interpol’s most wanted list after being named in an indictment, along with thirteen other senior officials from the international sports organization, a week ago. The United States government accuses Warner and his former colleagues of involvement in the rife fraud in world soccer. In turn, Warner is pointing the finger at departing president, Sepp Blatter, whom he roundly accuses of influencing his native Trinidad and Tobago’s general elections in 2010. According to the disgraced former Minister of National Security, he is prepared to release reams of evidence of corruption at FIFA. While Trinidad’s president Kamla Persad-Bissessar has since gone on record to denounce Warner’s claims, in a recent statement that is in wide circulation across the foreign press he threatens to expose the transactions between Blatter and the T&T government.
