Grieving American Students Return to North Cobb High School

On Monday, as a post mortem examination was being conducted on the body of Tomari Jackson, his classmates from North Cobb High School traveled back to Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.  The fourteen-year-old first year student was on a one-week mission to the Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary with the group when they went swimming in the Sibun River six miles off the George Price Highway, behind Tiger Sandy Bay. But the recreational activity turned tragic when Jackson could not be found. His body was retrieved from the water some ten hours later by a search party. Police confirm today that Jackson died as a result of asphyxia by drowning.
