‘Belice’ es de Guatemala?

News reports say that Guatemala will be reintroducing Belize as part of its official map. This is to take place due to an awareness campaign that is being undertaken in schools across the border in anticipation of their March eighteenth referendum on taking the territorial dispute to the International Court of Justice.  The reports say that Belize will be highlighted with the clause, “Territory under Dispute.”

A search of News Five’s archives indicates that this issue has surfaced before, but there are no records showing that Guatemala decided to remove offensive maps including Belize from certified offices.
