Shyne gets turned away at the UK airport

Moses Leviy, the rapper also known as Shyne, has maintained a low profile on the local scene but big names in the music industry have been trekking to Belize in connection with a new album in the pipeline. The recording would be his first since his release from prison. But the news tonight is that over the weekend Shyne packed up and headed to London via Cancun but he ran into trouble with immigration officials over some glitches in his travel documents. The rapper was denied entry into the UK and was turned back. Shyne was heading to London to record his new album and was accompanied by an entourage that included one local artist whom he has recruited for his new release. But as he faced immigration issues, this past Tuesday, a song entitled “All my Life” featuring DJ Khaled was leaked on the internet. It includes lyrics from Shyne on his time in prison. Khaled introduces Shyne saying quote “From the streets of New York , where the streets don’t sleep, Shyne get ’em!, Shyne then raps All my life I’ve been rolling with the D’s and the C’s, Steady ducking the police, ain’t a friend. When they take me ahead, they fill me with lead Until it come to an end, I’ll be bleeding in bed. I live slowly let you read in the F.E.D.S., Daddy wasn’t there but my mama was a gem. But I ain’t trippin’ though, that’s how I kill a flow”. Shyne traveled through Mexico since he cannot enter the US because of his conviction for assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession. He served nine of ten years at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in the state of New York for a shoot-out at a Manhattan night club.
Amen to that Omar Ayuso. I believe that Shyne should setup a world class studio and help the youths get into positive activities such as music. That will certainly help the crime situation. And yes Mr. Carson, please stop dissing Belize. Instead you should recommend ways in which to embrace the youths so that they live a different life. I want to add that Belize has very nice love people too. Not only haters…Big up Ras Catt for the positive vibes. We all pushing hard to represent Belize with positive music. Ya tu sabes! Big up Belmopan and the whole ah Belize…lets start sharing with each other, help your neighbor..do something for your community. Be a positive mentor for the youths. Lets work together and build a better Belize, free of crime!

I blame the corrupted Government of Belize, including Barrow or whatever his name is. All those politicians think they are above the law. We need new blood, selfless Leaders, business leaders to go into Government that THE PEOPLE elect to represent them and to lead this nation into the future. Not much going on in Belize. Where is industry! Where is foreign investment. Young people in Belize are trying their best to get an education and have a brighter future, but no jobs are out there. I don’t know how I survived out there. Ministers, stop abusing your power, and stealing money. Serve the people. When will we make government accountable, when will they respond to the people. Are we that ignorant? The justice system is a joke, full of corrupted, self interested people. We are a 100’s of years behind. No excuse. We are a 29 year old nation, but we are going backwards not forward. Where is the 30 year plan. Where is the investment in the future of Belize. We have some very bright individuals in Belize. Very bright, but no opportunity. No opportunity to develop the human capital in Belize. So sad to see. Shyne I wish you success in your music. I hope you sell 1,000,000 or more albums and invest that money in Belize and its people. The mentality of our people is one that needs changing. I am watching from afar, but what I see depresses me. Government is corrupt. It starts with our LEADERS that we elect. What DOES Barrow DO ALL DAY??????? What is he doing as a leader of the country. Is he attracting foreign investments in Belize???? We may be small but we can prosper with the right LEADERS. All we have in belize is the Hussler type mentality and the corruption and ambition runs rampant. I know Ras Indio very well, infact, we have two tracks together which you will be able to hear pretty soon or perhaps have heard on the radio (dem a fraud remix and a reggaeton song). We simple believe that Shyne can do a lot for Belize. If he is doing it, I am certain Ras Indio and all of us the upcoming artist (we) take our hats off with due respect. We dont doubt his expertise and would like to see more involved in issues affecting our country. Hey everyone knows that the UK doesn’t let anyone in who has a criminal record, they have turned away Snoop Dog and a number of other artists in the passed. Shyne my brother you need to get a better management team together that researches things like this prior to flying for 12 hours or so.
